About me
Don’t forget to dare
You get to a point in life where you take stock of your life, you probably do this thing several times during a lifetime, and I think at 35 years old you make the first “list” of things you should or shouldn’t have done, of dreams realized and not, or just what you really want for the rest of your life or what you’d really do without!
When for years you have lived traveling, looking and researching for your “place in the world”, you have checked all the opportunities, in my case, even on big stages, you have enriched yourself with experiences, work related or not, lives, you have intertwined your path with a thousand different personalities, of cultural, musical, artistic, literary importance, you get to ask yourself, but who do I want to be? Who am I? What do I want to become?
I’m not going to tell you which celebrities crossed my path, what important realities I worked for! Rather I will tell you that at some point in this hectic and eventful life, made of lights and sequins, Art has become my salvation, my lifeline! The way I dealt with so many disappointments, the way I “ward of the problem.”
From this you understand that you can find a new way, your way!!

Morphè, that face, it’s me! I painted it and then it became my artistic alter Ego, to represent myself, to be that new me!
Spatula color to the rhythm of music, a sound that accompanies you, pampers you, guides you!
When you feel locked in a cage and the brush, a canvas, set you free, gives you the freedom of expression, the movement and thoughts.
And then the lockdown, and that sense of freedom that is lost, that is deprived of you, that fear that accompanies you, that sense of bewilderment, of darkness about what will happen tomorrow, and that desire to look at the world in a different way, to finally explore the boundaries so far kept hidden, not to waste any more time, to give credit to that time , YOUR time.
And hence the idea of getting your works out, out of the canvases, of making them move, wear them, to make them part of a world, that world that has been taken from you for a while, violated and that now just wants to be reborn and find space, life, color!
My name is Alessia, but you can call me “Morphè”.
